It is a huge property approx 100 years old originally built by an English company. The property still has all original floors and wooden doors as well as many other traditional features. Each ceramic floor tile has the date underneath of when it was made, and the wooden doors had also been made and delivered from England.
This would be ideal as a rural hotel or business. It does need work in places however it is completely habitable and so any renovations can be carried out while living in the property.
On the ground floor to the right of the main hallway is a huge living/dining room with 3 large windows and a fireplace, a double bedroom, and access to the rear staircase and another hallway. The other side of the entrance hall is another double bedroom with full lenth windows, a shower room, and further along is the main kitchen/dining area which also leads outside.
Up the stairs is a second kitchen which is newer than the rest of the property and rarely used, another lounge/dining room which is accessed from the hall as well as this kitchen, and the hallway leads to 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs on the top floor more work is needed. The ceilings are slanted and have wooden beams, approx half of which have already been replaced. On this level there are 8 different rooms, one of which has a traditional corner fireplace. There is also a large covered terrace, which could also be enclosed if necessary and looking for further accommodation.
Back to the ground floor of the property, there is another entrance at the side which leads to the less used part of the property. Here there is a living area leading through to an old kitchen, which has access outside. Following the path outside this door leads to the other kitchen on the ground floor. To the left of the entrance is a double bedroom, and the corridor leads to another bathroom, a room which was used as a utility room, another double bedroom and more storage space. The stairs at this entrance are the second stairwell mentioned previously, and unlike the rest of the property which is tiled with the original ceramic tiles, this part of the house is layed with marble.
Each floor of the main house measures approx. 266m2.
The property is set on a huge fenced plot of 1185m2. At the entrance is a sliding gate and a patio. This patio can also be accessed by the cafeteria/bar that is also included at the front of the property. It is a separate building with the main bar area and a seating area to the right, and a games area currently set up to the left. The main entrance to the cafeteria is on the street, and the back door leads to the patio where there is plenty of room for placing tables and chairs outside for customers. Just outside the back door there are also toilets. The cafeteria and kitchen measures 103m2.
Albanchez is a typical Spanish town however there is also a large expat and foreign community here as well. The property is ideally located on the main street leading into Albanchez, and so all the amenities are close by. Yet, at the same time it is still a peaceful area and there are lovely views over the town and surrounding countryside and mountains.
